Woy Woy Judo Club Gains Level 0 in Good Sports Accreditation
The Good Sports program is a national initiative of the Australian Drug Foundation (ADF) to develop safer and healthier communities. It is a free program which helps clubs change their culture to become more focused on young people and families and less on the consumption of alcohol at high risk levels.
Woy Woy Judo Club effort to tackle to the difficult issue of alcohol management in community sport has resulted in the club receiving Level 0 Accreditation, as part of the Australian Drug Foundations good sports program.

APOLOGY To those who have made enquiries about starting Judo. The Peninsula Community Centre Board of Management , has decided to restructure the Martial Arts Room into a multi-purpose room, a move I have been told, that is sanctioned by Gosford City Council & Community Services.
Although we are not the sole users, the Woy Woy Judo Club has been instructed to vacate the room within a certain time.
As the Board gave no thought to our current members or offered any alternatives, we thought it only fair to secure our Club's future at a new premise before attempting to take on beginners.
